How it Works

Inquiry

Contact us and tell us about your marketing needs. If you're located in the Pittsburgh market or surrounding areas, we'd be happy to get together with you for a free consultation. We'll get to know your business, discuss the specifics of your project, ask the right questions and make recommendations on how to achieve the marketing results you desire. If you are located elsewhere, just send us an e-mail introducing yourself and detailing your marketing needs, and we'll respond upon receipt with any questions we may have, and/or to schedule a phone call to speak in greater detail.

Proposal

We will promptly prepare and submit via e-mail an all-inclusive flat fee proposal for your review and approval. This will cover everything, unless you change the scope of the project at any point. Our proposals are normally several pages in length and very detailed, so you know exactly what you're getting, and everyone is on the same page from the beginning. They typically include the following: Executive Summary, Qualifications (including references and testimonials), Project Scope, Pricing and Deliverables and Terms and Conditions.

Proposal Approval/Deposit

You'll fax or e-mail (scanned with signature) us back your signed proposal indicating your approval to move forward, and send us your deposit (mail, wire transfer, direct deposit, PayPal). Upon receipt of both, we'll start working on your project.

Timeline/Creative Brief

The first thing we will do (whatever the size of your project) is create a timeline for your review/approval. Then, we'll create a creative brief that will map out the project's details and direction, so that everyone is on the same page with what needs to be accomplished.

Reviews and Approvals

Based on the approved timeline, Virtual Edge will present specific project components for your review and approval at various milestones. To save time and keep costs down, this is done via e-mail. In order for us to keep each project moving, avoid continuous timeline revisions and hit your completion deadline, it is vital that you do not miss any review/feedback/approval dates.

Project Completion/Delivery/Invoicing

Upon your approval, we'll invoice you for the balance due. Upon receipt of payment, we'll deliver all final files to you (usually via e-mail or mailed on disc if files too large).
