When the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Pediatrics came to us, and asked us to create and print this gigantic 314-page piece, we were ready to hit the ground running. Featuring the acclaimed new UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's campus on the front cover, this book contains everything you could possibly want to know about the facility and its staff. Not only did this project require world-class design and production skills, it also called for extensive organization and desktop publishing capabilities just to manage it. To keep costs down, the full-color front cover, back cover and spine were printed using traditional printing methods, while the interior was created with a 2-color design, and was printed digitally.
